Founder or co-founder of four companies, invented and brought to market the Ultrasonic Additive Manufacturing process, developed IP strategies and have been awarded 32 US and foreign patents. Experienced in government, large and small business, academia, and building and leading industry/government/academia teams. Strong technical background in materials science, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, additive manufacturing/3D printing and clean technology. Teaches Entrepreneurship at the University of Michigan.
