What happened
Sometimes life throws you painful curve balls that mess with your plans. As if the illness of the aging founder, causing his exit from the company, wasn’t bad enough, two key managers, also family members, passed away unexpectedly. We helped this family navigate a very difficult process to land with an incredibly good result. One the founder would be proud of. We made what we believe will be lifelong friendships in the process. Wishing our friends some much-earned rest and relaxation, but most of all, peace.
Every closed engagement is described this way. The company is never named, and no figure that could identify it is published (except where permission is granted) — during the process or after it.
The NDA and teaser came down at completion of the transaction. What a seller is owed in confidence during a sale, they are owed afterward.
