What happened
We were entrusted with the sale of this 73-year-old company. Our challenge was to find someone with specific experience in specialty-vehicle HVAC who would keep jobs in the community. We vetted 187 potential candidates, only granting facility visits to 3 people. We hit our target perfectly with regard to experience and passion for the community our client was located in. We assisted the buyer in connecting with a quality lender who provided financing on both the business and the real estate.
Every closed engagement is described this way. The company is never named, and no figure that could identify it is published (except where permission is granted) — during the process or after it.
The NDA and teaser came down at completion of the transaction. What a seller is owed in confidence during a sale, they are owed afterward.
