What happened

This client served Fortune 500 scientific instrument OEMs. He would not engage with a buyer who did not understand the manufacturing processes relevant to his business. As with most Accelerated clients, the owner believed the acquirer’s experience would directly impact the company's continuity and the future opportunities for the staff who had helped him become so successful. We found the perfect match in an out-of-state buyer who previously ran a division at J&J.

The ultimate compliment and testament to the quality of Accelerated’s work is being asked to sell another company of a prior client, eight years after the first. We were honored to accept a second engagement.

Every closed engagement is described this way. The company is never named, and no figure that could identify it is published (except where permission is granted) — during the process or after it.

Why no documents are available

The NDA and teaser came down at completion of the transaction. What a seller is owed in confidence during a sale, they are owed afterward.
