What happened
With two LOIs submitted on this business, we’d found the perfect buyer for our client. However, with a 65% customer concentration, 12 acquisition lenders declined the deal. We referred the buyer to one of our national lenders who understands the aerospace industry, in which it’s almost impossible not to have a concentration. This business had 2 shareholders: one wanted to retire immediately, and the other wanted to continue working. We got them BOTH what they wanted.
Every closed engagement is described this way. The company is never named, and no figure that could identify it is published (except where permission is granted) — during the process or after it.
The NDA and teaser came down at completion of the transaction. What a seller is owed in confidence during a sale, they are owed afterward.
